Exzo worked with local artists who had designed the stations artworks around the local landmarks as determined by METRONET’S Noongar Reference Group. We were involved in the paving, external designs and architecture, fitouts and more.
Exzo implemented the artwork design and worked with Metronet to position this station as the centrepiece of the planned neighbourhood precinct, which will cater for passengers from day one of operations. We were involved in include feature artwork, walls, amongst others.
The recent build of Redcliffe Station in Perth, WA, showcases a great collaboration between METRONET and Exzo. Part of the Forrestfield-Airport Link, this station improves connections between the eastern suburbs and the city. Exzo contributed by installing eye-catching, culturally relevant artworks that enhance the station’s look and feel. These artworks add aesthetic value and reflect the local community spirit. The partnership between METRONET and Exzo ensures Redcliffe Station is not just functional but also a visually appealing landmark.
The Armadale Line Upgrade is a key infrastructure project aimed at enhancing the southern rail corridor in Perth. Exzo’s is involved in Perth’s first major elevated rail designed to improve public transport safety, create new and versatile public space for the community and reduce traffic congestion. Six level crossings are being removed along the Armadale Line by raising the rail over the road at Mint Street, Oats Street, Welshpool Road, Hamilton Street, Wharf Street and William Street. New modern elevated stations are being built at Carlisle, Oats Street, Queens Park, Cannington. All practices and materials ensured that the station meets the highest standards, with more to come!
